Come together

Come together for the worse rather than for the better.

17 and because generally their meetings were not for the better but for the worse, as 21

(I Corinthians 11:17-20 [KJV])
[17] Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
[18] For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
[19] For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
[20] When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.

We see here that you can actually come together in meetings not for the better but for the worse. And we see that when you read these verse its 1cor11:17-20. We see that it is about when its division. When its division among the brethren, I dont think there is any point to come together then.

Of course you should never go to a meeting where their is a false accuser.

But the point being here that you can actually come together for the worse. And this is a rebuke of church doctrine.

They will use the verse:

(Hebrews 10:25 [KJV]) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

But many so called Christians see the true brethren as lambs for the slaughter.

Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

So this is a rebuke to those who say that you cannot be in Christ if you don't go to church.

I think it is good to have people that you can have unity with without division absolutely.
